Our Dream House

My wife and I spent three months looking for our dream home. We probably saw a hundred houses or more. None of them seemed right, though. Something was always off about them. One house had a kitchen that was too small. Another had a cramped back yard. Then there was the one with the junk yard across the street. We were about to give up when we came across it.

It was everything we wanted. The kitchen was huge with plenty of cabinet and counter space. The bedrooms were all good sized and the back yard was magnificent. I still didn’t feel completely sure though. Then we ventured to the side yard and my mind was made up.

There at the side of the house was a personal basketball court. It was a half size court, but it was just perfect for me. I knew there was no way we could let this house go. It was our dream house. We had finally found it.
