It isn’t often that I get a free moment to do something that I love. I normally am stuck in my office working long hours, sometimes well into the night. Any free time away from work I spend trying to have some quality time with my family. Sometimes, though, a guy just needs a break.

When I am feeling overworked and stressed out I head to the local rec center for a little basketball. The time spent in the gym by myself is exhilarating. I feel like I am actually in control again. I decide where to shoot from and I decide the rules of my game.

I love the way the ball feels in my hands. I love the sound of it bouncing on the gym floor. I love to watch it swoosh the basket. It makes me feel alive.

I only get to play every once in a while, but when I do it is a real comfort. It helps me to let the stress and the demands of life slip away for a little bit and I get to feel free.

The Thunder Pro is a portable unit that has two built in safety features. It is built so the base sits off court and it has durable padding on the base, both protect players. It has a 36” x 60” tempered glass backboard with a heavy duty flex goal. It is adjustable to various heights and easy to move on the built in wheels.
